Cancellation of Admission:Students may have their admission revoked due to severe violations of college policies.

Suspension from Attending Classes: Temporary suspension from classes as a penalty for misconduct.

Withholding of Scholarships/Fellowships: Temporary or permanent withdrawal of scholarships, fellowships, and other financial benefits.

Debarring from Examinations: Prohibition from participating in any tests, examinations, or other evaluation processes.

Withholding Results: Withholding of academic results as a disciplinary measure.

Restriction from Representation: Students may be barred from representing the college in any regional, national, or international events such as meets, tournaments, or festivals.

Expulsion from Hostel: Removal from college housing facilities due to breaches of hostel regulations.

Rustication: Temporary removal from the college for a period that can vary from 1 to -1 semesters, based on the severity of the offense.

Expulsion from the College: Permanent removal from the college and a consequent ban on admission to any other institution.

Monetary Fine: A fine of up to Rs. 25,000/- can be imposed for certain infractions.

Rigorous Imprisonment: For the most severe offenses, imprisonment of up to three years, which can only be imposed by a court of law.

Enforcement of Punishments:

- The first ten types of punishments can be awarded by the appropriate authorities within Mullai College of Nursing, such as the disciplinary committee or the dean’s office.

- Legal actions that require judicial intervention, such as imprisonment, must be processed through legal proceedings and can only be implemented following a court’s ruling.
